Electricity seasonal contracts are trading marginally lower this morning. (Win-18 is 0.14% lower than yesterday’s close price). The gas curve gave direction to the electricity prices today. National Grid decided to switch off the generation from coal the second consecutive day.
Nat Gas wholesale prices are trading marginally lower today. However, expectations of cooler weather later this week is seen as the bullish factor for the front season contracts. Brent Crude is still trading higher, amidst falling global oil production.
